Kari Galassi has been focused on improving the lives of the people in our community. Recently she has helped raise money for the NICU at Hinsdale Hospital, helped senior citizens secure vaccine appointments at the beginning of the rollout when appointments were scarce, was the president of the D86 referendum campaign to improve the high schools and fought to improve student educations by managing a campaign for a slate of two D86 BOE members who both won.

The recent wave of crime happening in DuPage County has lead the Kari to run for DuPage County Board District 3. She will use her background as a Certified Public Accountant to make funding law enforcement something that is always included in the balanced budget.

Kari and her husband Nick are raising their children Jack, Vinny, and Evie and their two dogs Lambeau and Cooper in Hinsdale.
