Unincorporated Willowbrook Resident: I support Kari Galassi after seeing her in action
Our vote is our voice, and our choice reveals the kind of leadership we are willing to stand with.
I first met Kari Galassi after a serious incident in our unincorporated Willowbrook community. Since then, I have seen her remain accessible and present. When concerns arise, she checks in, listens and follows through. When she says she will look into something, help make a community connection or show up to support an event, she does.
Kari has been present at community events and has helped connect residents and organizations with useful resources and support. I can speak to her willingness to respond when our community needs assistance. That kind of consistency matters in an area that can sometimes be overlooked.
My support is not based on political party, gender or any particular brand of government. I support leaders based on what I personally see them do, especially for people and communities that are furthest from opportunity. Kari has made herself available to our community, and she has kept her word.
I do not claim to know anyone’s heart or intentions. I can only evaluate the actions I have witnessed. Kari’s actions have shown consistency, accessibility and follow-through. Based on my personal experience with her public service, she has earned my confidence and my vote.
This statement reflects my personal views as a resident and is not made on behalf of any organization with which I am affiliated. — Jamie Thompson, unincorporated Willowbrook
